The paraplanner works closely with the firm’s Financial Planners and is responsible for assisting in developing, monitoring and updating comprehensive financial plans that we prepare for our clients. Cash flow planning, retirement planning and tax planning are key areas of focus. The paraplanner role is multi-faceted as it includes analytical work, writing, research and client interaction.
Responsibilities will include:

Manage the data gathering process

Work with the Financial Planner to develop comprehensive financial plans

Assist clients in implementing aspects of their plan

Develop Investment Policy Statements that govern how accounts will be managed

Participate in client meetings and assist with follow-up tasks

Manage client portals

Oversee quarterly reporting for clients

Develop relationships with clients
The ideal candidate will:

Have a Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field of study

Desire to work towards a Certified Financial Planner designation
